The results weren't that surprising to me. My hypothesis was that the golf ball would have more velocity than the ping pong ball. Why? It is simply because the golf ball had way more mass than the ping pong ball. The ping pong was hollow and weightless while the golf ball wasn't and heavy. The golf ball also bounced higher than the ping pong ball. As the height of the drop was increased, as expected, so did the velocity. Acceleration will never change, due to Earth's gravitational pull. The acceleration is 9.8 m/s/s/. Both the motion sensor and the electric-free experiments heeded the same results of the golf ball having more velocity than the ping pong ball.
